'02 Heritage Softail,
After some extensive searching, I have not been able to find a similar problem. So I'm asking here (hope this is the right forum).
I am unable to arm the security system. I have:
-Replaced battery in fob(s)
-"Re-Marry" fob(2) to bike (which appears to work with confirmation blinks).
I have 2 fobs and both will not work. The bike sat for sometime (4 months or so) with the alarm on with a battery charger attached so I never lost a charge. When I went to ride after the down time, the alarm went off and I had to disarm manually, which worked. Since that day the fobs have not worked. Although the alarm is disarmed, I am unable to do anything else where the fob is involved to put it into a certain mode.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
I am certain that the fobs are marrying. I'm not sure what you are suggesting. Could you clarify for me please? I have the button fobs if that makes a difference. It is almost like the receiver is shutdown and has not waken up outside of configuration mode. Is that possible? I have tried what the manual says about waking it up but it does not seem to work.
Thanks for your time
