voltage regularor??
last night on the way to work, noticed check engine light on intermitantly, and battery light blinking on as well (not staying on as much as check engine light though) ... on the way home this a.m. it didn't miss a beat. Got up around 12.00 ran by dealer, the service department was helpfull, said pull it in we'll look at it. it had a code set for low voltage... tech said mabey fluke since it hadnt done it since... left went got a burger, left there and light came on, went back to dealer without ever killing motor, pulled it inside, he hooked it up same code, diagnostic utility told him to hook something up to ECM so he had to kill it to do that.... then check engine and battery lights wouldn't come back on, but gauge on dash is only reading 12 volts... ussually up around 14 volts.... he couldnt get it to do the code thingy while it was all hooked up to ECM... so anyway long story short he says cant be stator thats either good or bad no kinda bad so must be voltage regulator... dropping it off tomorow p.m. for them to fix it saturday.
so guess question is does voltage regulator sound right to anyone here?
