Default Quick battery question.
Do you need to charge the HD maintenance free battery prior to installing it for the first time? Thanks, Tim

Don't think so. I just put one in last week. Started the bike right up, and has been great ever since. I don't know if the dealer charged it, but I doubt it, 'cause then they would have charged ME!!!

That's what the dealer told my daughter. I just thought it odd not to put a little charge on it. Thanks,liltrk, for the input, Tim

Well my daughter brought the new AGM battery home last night at 2am. Instructions state to check the voltage prior to install. Mine was 12.78 so it did not need a charge, so I installed it. I just woke up, the sun is shining and I'm going to go riding. Then I'm going to boil some crabs....what a life! Ya'll enjoy the weekend and be safe, Tim
