FLHTCI Has it been flashed?

I just purchased a used 01 classic w/ EFI. The previos owner had BUB pipes installed but he wasn't sure if the dealer had flashed the ECM. I called the dealer and they had no record of it , said maybe another dealer had done the work. I read that the bike should cut out at 5800 rpm because of rev limiter. I took the rpms up and the bike cut out at 6200 rpm or so . Does the high rpm suggest the ECM has been flashed with HD download?

Sure sounds like it. The question you need answered is whether or not you have the correct flash[sm=jawdrop.gif]

Stock rev-limiter is 5500 rpm, with the HD stage1 flash it is raised to 6250 rpm.

So with that said...........it sounds like you have some kind of HD ECM flash installed on the bike, most likely just the Stage 1 flash.
