Lowering idle speed on FI bike.

Well, everthing on the bike is perfectly adequate as it rolls off the showroom floor. However we change lots of things to express what we like.
I just like the 800 rpm idle better than 1k. 200 rpm diference, it certainly doesn't sound like it is struggling or poorly tuned.
I will put a volt meter on my battery at idle and report back on the voltage.

I'm sure it will slow your oil feed but I also know it will slow your charging system.....in turn also provide less power to your fuel injection system at low RPM. I was looking to do the same on my 06 Fatboy but i am going to change cams, etc

I verified that voltage was not a problem by using my SEPST and doing a data run and later comparing voltage at idle to voltage at 2.5k rpm. Minimal difference. Oil pressure is more likely where you'll see the difference but everything I know of so far has been anecdotal.

I am new at this forum. It is easy to lower the idle speed if you have a supertuner (800rpm), but my question is, why is it even possible to lower it if you can damage your engine? can someone answer please?
