voes location ?
bike started running bad after a trip to the pressure washer the other day,,when i looked the vac line off the s&s e was missing,,i have a compu-fire ignition and i don't know if the vac line was plugged,or if it's for a voes ?? where was the voes located from the factory,,?? i capped the vac port on the carb but i still have some vibes under 2000 rpm,,im wondering if its got a voes,but not sure btw...it's on a 1987 flhs,with s&s 96" and compu-fire

I cant help with much but I will add you should never use a peasure washer on your bike for any reason. It forces water into area it should not go and will cause damage. I did it one time and then had to change my wheel bearings because I had damaged them.

yea,compu-fire does not use a module,,and i was trying to get out of pulling my full gas tank ,it didn't have a voes after all ,,but it did have a plug wire post broke all the way around on the coil,,i wonder if thats whats goin on ?,,this all started from this vibration a couple weeks ago,changed primary chain and motor sprocket,and front motor mount ( all real bad ),then knocked the plug off the carb,,i have a bad vibration at 1500-2000 rpm,it'll shake the mirrors off,,then after 2000 it smoothes out,,i wonder if the coil has anything to do with it,???im completely out of ideas on this vibration

I'm a bit confused. You went from a pressure washer the other day to a vibration a couple of weeks ago. Have you checked for spark on both cylindars? Is the vibration on the road or in your driveway? Have you tried adjusting the timing to take the vibration out?
