Easy, I paid a lot to have a tune done by a "professional" there were issues from the first tune, which Wiz has seen, but that tune no longer exists in the bike. This guy did it, I wanted him to see if he can correct the issues. After 1 1/2 years of ping, nothing he did would work. Other than the ping, the bike ran fine. I was giving him the benefit of a doubt. I told myself, this is the final go around with this guy, if he can't perform, I'm done with him! Since he couldn't get the job done, he should have at least gave me half my $$ back. After all, he did spend time trying, but no cigar!

Personally I think the OP has the wrong calibration map and simply needs to take a deep breath and start over.

He says his throttle roll-on over 2800 RPM's are fine but he has decel pop and ping. He stresses the ping issue. Well, with the Rineharts he is going to loose some low and mid range torque and if they are shorties then his exhaust reversion will make it pop but these things can be worked out on the map.

His pinging issue could either be the bike (which I hope not) or the spark tables, it could be the starting map calibration was wrong and has the wrong cam dynamics in the software. This too would be an easy fix but we need to know what map he has and I, for one, would love to see a copy of it.

When I roll on the go, fairly aggressive to hard, she lights off from 2800 to maybe 3200 in 4th gear and up, this has always been an issue. Most is eliminated if shifting at or above 3500, which I don't think you should have to run this motor this way.. I originally had issues with decel pop too, which he corrected and I lived with some decel gargle that was tolerable. My pipes are Rineharts slip ons, same length as stock, Ness Big Sucker Intake.

I'm frustrated as hell and the next tune on the bike will now tally over $800.00 in combined tunes!

I meant there could be an issue within the bike such as a push rod or lifter or cam sprocket a tooth off.

I'm getting older everyday and get more than a half a dozen new maps a week to look at... Is this Len?

Man, that was back in June... Did you ever get your cables and laptop all ready? I was going to remote into your computer and flash it for you. I sent you a repaired map... the one you sent to me was all wigged out as I remember. When will you be ready to do this?
