Battery Drain
I've got a (whoa, captain obvious) 1991 FLSTC, Heritage classic Softail. Would a bad or failing Voltage regulator cause a drain on the battery. I just put a new interstate on the bike two weeks ago. No problems until I started doing some carb adjustments, and had to start over and over...which drained the battery to the point that it won't fire. Any suggestions where to start?

A bad voltage regulator can allow current to drain from the battery. You would have to test this with an ammeter ( most multimeters have this function).
I'd charge the battery fully- with a battery charger- Trickle chargers ( battery tender) do not offer enough current to charge a battery up- they will maintain a charge.
Once the battery is fully charged you can do all the tests. easy.
