Need Help
My 2002 HD Ultra Classic engine light is on, running rough and wont idle. The speedometer was behaving erratic. athen it pegged at 0 and then wouldnt move. Does anyone have any advis eor has this happened to you before?

More than likely the vehicle speed sensor on the trans. Check the self canceling signals if they are working, if they aren't replace the sensor. The ECM relies on input from this sensor to run the various systems on the bike. The light should go out after 50 start and run cycles of at least 30 seconds each or the dealer can put it out for you.
The fuzz you see in the third picture is gear material and what is causing the problem. Always use a gear oil and not an engine oil in the trans.
