mechanical to electronic speedometer conversion
Hello, I have a 74 fl that has a baker 6sp (has provision for the sensor) with a thunderhart micro harness and would like to use a later model harley electronic speedo possibly the model with the built in tach. If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

I did that on my 94 FLH
I had to drill my case but if yours already has the holes for the sensor your more then 3/4 the way there. You can use any electronic speedo up to an 04, the 04 and up use a data line from the ecm. Write Thunderheart for the speedo hook up they are a #1 firm for information and products.
I just hooked the wiring up using an 03 FLH wiring diagram cause I used an 03 speedo it worked great.
