agree with this guy, you are not doing something 100% correct. i have a hard time with all the steps if i dont do one for awhile.

FWIW, in your case, your PV is WORTH the money, iffin i was you, I would use Quick Tune, and enrichen the low end.

Decel is at time 2:06:
here is a link to time 2:06

after that, I would autotune, to smooth out the tune.

you just gotta put enough effort into it.

I could be wrong but I read his post as he's using a base tune that was sent to him and he hasn't tried AT yet. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think he's cruising around in AT mode.

And the bike decel pops like hell. I have been using basic autotune for over a thousand miles now and hasnt helped...

Keep in mind, I am a complete noob at this tunning stuff so tuning it on my own is something i dont think I can do..
I interpreted The OP's post to mean He's been running Auto Tune for 1k miles without exporting and reflashing. Hope not but It'll be interesting to hear from him again if so.

Also as a side note, That Header looks cool but it may have some decel pop no matter what. And there are true dual maps for short pipes on DJ's website that might be closer to start with.

Ok thanks for all the replies guys. What I mean is I have the map That pv sent me(the rush 2-1 map) and I have been using auto tune and exporting it to the PV map for a ton of times over the course of over a thousand miles. There is no way it should decel pop nearly as bad as it does.

Can you post your latest calibration and the one you did before that? Most of the time you are in a long decal you are below what the stock O2's can collect as far as data. Meaning auto tuning will not do anything for popping.

I have tuned that pipe and you are not stuck with the popping.

Also, double check to make sure you do not have any exhaust leaks. Wouldn't be the first time I have seen guys with bad decel popping that had exhaust leaks.

Also, what are your in the 20 map area from 2000 rpm and down?

Default PV software version question

I sold my scooter and included the PV in the sale and am about to purchase a new one from FM for my 2014. It's been a while since I've even looked at the desktop software and I wanted to check for available updates. My desktop software shows that it's version 2.0.6.1319. Looking at the DJ site, the current version for download is 2.0.5.1319. Did they roll back a minor version step? The current download file also is named 2.0.5.1319.

Thx

2.0.6.1319 is the latest. All you have to do to update just the software is go to Update Client under the program Power Vision program file. If you are hooked to internet and Win/PV closed open the update client and click through a few boxes and it will eventually pull up your current and latest version. Once you get your new PV need to hook it up and update before installing/marrying to bike.

Sounds like the version available on the DJ download page isn't the current one. It shows as version 2.0.5.1319. The updater software must be pulling the 2.0.6.1319 as the latest. I'll be finding out soon.

Thanks
