sympotms of a bad ignition module
My '04 Dyna won't crank.I mean nothing happens when I hit the start button. I have checked everything I can, and suspect the ignition module. The lights work, starter relay is good, but no current getting to starting switch on handlbars. I have current going into the module, but nothing going out on that circuit. Any of you have experience with a bad module? What are the symptoms?

The ignition module has nothing to do with turning the starter, only thing that will disable the starter relay is a security system. If all is well with that then you need to see why you have no power to the starter button. A jumper wire from the battery positive to the 50 terminal, or the green wire to the starter, should start the bike up.

I just bought the bike at a police auction, 'not running..dead battery". It is a police Dyna, may have a security system, but I don't see any icons or other indications. The wires going to the starter button do run through the module, so...?
