Clean smokey look from passing lamps?
Not sure where to look but has anybody had any luck trying to clean the inside of their sealed beam passing lamps. Mine has a somkey look on the inside near the top half of the lamp.
Trying to find a way to clean the inside through the bulb hole without leaving water spots on the inside?

On my '09, I took them off the bike after removing the bulb/socket, and swished isopropyl alcohol around on the inside several times. It removed the film and dried with out leaving any residue.
At first I tried using swabs and other things but they all left dust or lint. I tried the IPA and it worked fine.
After the last wash, I just let them set for a few minutes until dry and then put them back on the bike.
I did the stock headlight the same way as it also developed some film on the inside.
