Default Passing Lamps

Would anyone know why my passing lamp lenses are getting a grayish white haze on them? I was cleaning my bike the other day and noticed it. Would aftermarket bulbs cause it, even though they are the same wattage as OEM? The headlight also has an aftermarket bulb and it is still clear. WTF?

Good question - my 09 Deluxe has done the same thing. Am thinking about taking the lens off and cleaning them. Original bulbs on mine btw.

They are HD brand, 10 to 1, with bad seals... dirt and moisture get inside them and turns them hazy... clean the inside be careful wiping chromed reflector part (cheap *** coating)... blow dry with filtered air... reassemble using rubber gel on the seals.

Thanks HH, I knew that the lensed were sealed, but didn't know that they could be taken apart. I will try to take them apart and see if that helps.
