no fuel pump
i just changed my grips on my 09 fatbob and now the fuel pump wont come on to pressure up the system & my engine light does'nt come on when i turn on the ignition. but the fuel pump runs if i jump it direct from batt. ??

thats what ive been screwing with for the last 3 days & can't find anything ?? driving me nuts. i got a code from the speedometer diagnostic but i dont know what it means its no r sp ?

If you have power in and power out of the run/stop switch then its else where. So she cranks but no fuel pump. Do you have security? Check crank sensor conection. Check coil power imput wire. You say the fuel pump isnt priming. Maybe relay. Just throwing stuff out there. Thanks for the complement. She's been a good bike.
