dtc code po372

my 05 fatboy with carb is sick, and i am getting dtc code po372. does anyone know what this code means. i have found code po373 as a bad ckp sensor but cant find a description for po372. thanks for anyhelp

Hi Tex,

code seems to indicate CKP sensor intermittent. Sounds like a replacement may be required or there could be a loose/ faultyconnection.

replaced sensor last night and bike still runs the same. what the h$%^ is going on

tex,

check to see if there is a wiring issue- the wiring is run pretty tight and might have worn through in some places. THis happened on an 07 night train recently and the dealership spent a fair bit of time trying to locate it. THe wiggle test comes to mind.
