Tmax tuner - idle setting
For those that are running thundermax, what is the lowest you have set your idle ? I'm at 926 and love the sound with the tw-222 cams. I set it for a while at 896 and couldn't tell a big difference, just wondering what others are running ?

Good advice. I don't think you want to go much lower than that. I had a buddy help me set up my map and he always puts his twin cams (he has several) around 950. No matter what you do it won't sound like a shovel.

I would recommend sticking with 926 as the oil issue is a real concern. I have noted a rapid increase in head temp. when I tried to go lower. With trial an error and determination ( actually reading and understanding directions ) I found complete satisfaction with my TMAX. I know some out there have had issues with it but those that I have tried to help simply didn't have the computer skills or reading comprehension to master it.

Lot of controversy with this. My Carbed Evo idled at about 750 never any problems. I set my TC Fat Bob at 800, lowest it would go and no problems.
