If your kit is an "F", yes it's old. If your CD is an "F", it's really old. The "J" CD, which comes with the "G" kit, has a new improved calibration #78for 07 FLH's, 159PZ004-A1. You can buy the 32117-01J CD separately. Zanotti is saying the CD should be available 4/9 and it's $14.50 + shipping.
Murphdog is correct... though the F isn't THAT old, it's only just been superceded. The tuner model (the black box unit) remains the same from the F version to theG version so if you update the CD you'll have all the revised maps.
I got advice from Zanotti 2 days ago saying the J CD back orders had begun to arrive, so it should be available very soon.
Woodhaven, your dealer sold you his old stock if he sold you an F kit recently. He should have at least told you there was a later version out. The G kit has been on backorder for a month at most placessothey have been unloading the older F version to unsuspecting buyers that were desperate to get something. TheONLY difference between the F kit and the G kit is the CD itself. As mentioned, you can get the latest CD (J) separately when it becomes available again for a few $. In your case, the #78 calibration that you would probably use on your FLHX has been majorly changed on the J CD. I know 2 people that have changed from the old cal #78 to the new and reported better performance and mileage.
