sert packaged with missing hardware??

sert packaged with missing hardware??
just got my parts back from dealer installation of a 1550 stage 2, the sert has the disc and a lil black box, but no cable hookups to go from a pc to the bike, my screaming eagle manual shows them, did the dealer "hold out" on me and keep the stuff?

part # is 32107-01f, manufactuered on 1/26/07 retail 469 and change, if h.d. wants to keep some stuff, they outa think about reducing the price, ya think?? Will I be able to purchase this stuff seperate,maybe a computor store?Seems to run fine, just like to have a look in there.

I have allmost same problem, I went to look at my manuel from my s.e.r.t. and all I have are disc, and little black box, and cable's, doe's any one know how to get manuel or down load P.D.F on your computer? It is part 32107-01E, thank you for any help, or do they sell book with instruction's ? PURPLE HAZE.

thanks for the replys,it would be nice to see exactly what they loaded, it's really spot on, would be nice to pass on the info, if it's not a library download.

The Users Manual, Calibrations Library, Data Mode and Tuning Mode are all on that disc.....
Load it on to your PC and read it....
neverhme.... If you choose to invest in the cables, you can see what map the tech used as a starting point, but that is all.... You will not be able to see the mod' map, or be able to retrieve it as a PC...

Thank's Bob! I'm still from old school with little book's with instruction's and picture's so I'm just old fashion, thought disc was what tuner used to map my s.e.r.t., another stupid question!!! In my box also little black box that has scremin eagle picture on it, I thought that would stay on bike and was the s.e.r.t. it self , so I thought it was to mount on my computer??!!, And got shaft because it is in box not on bike, Boy I need to go to basic harley 101, I wonder if Arlington U.T. Has class that I could go to. But why in box not on bike??? PURPLE HAZE

That black box is what locks that race tuner to your motorcycle. It also allows communication between program and bike. Its called an interface. So if you were to go and try to tune Shovel head Bobs bike it would not work. Keeps Harley rich. When using the race tuner unlike other shitty productslike the power com, vh fuel pack, race fueler, or any other piggyback piece of crap this allows the tuner to remap the exsisting ecm that is in the bike. Where as other products just give the ecm and educated lie. Nothing comes close to race tuner. All other products are like A download, that is it.Yes they will monitor to an extent but they DO NOT have the tuning capabilities as the race tuner
