Default SERT set up. Need help

Well I bought the new street glide Friday. Got it home and put on all the extras with the help of Athlete. We drank a few and actually had a good time aggravating the hell out of each other.
Now for the Question.

IfI Purchase aSERT is there some here able and willing to help me get it set. I cant dyno the bike yet. Not till it is broken in, My question is there someone here that can help me get it close . I will install slip on touring Mufflers and the stage one AC kit and the sert. Would rather do it myself than pay the dealer to do it and it still not be right.
Posted this in General and at the suggestion of another Member I put it here as well Hoping the Tuners will see it.

First question is ... What version are you running?

Next, do you have cables, and last, what OS are you running on your PC????

Hopefully you have the "G" SERT, with the "J" disc.....

Vista 64 bit will not work, Vista 32 will give you fits for a bit, and if you are using a USB - Serial adapter could also throw you a curve......

1580, Stage I Race for the TOURING platform is map # 78 (159PZ003)...

First thing you are going to do is to READ THE MANUAL!!!!!!!!!

MAKE SURE THAT YOUR PC IS PLUGGED IN AT ALL TIMES!!!!!!!

Then you will select the map that you want to use, promote it to ADVANCED, Select the Closed Loop Bias Table and MAX out the voltage for the ENTIRE Chart (798 mVDC)......

Save it, turn on the bikes ignition, turn on the run switch, wait 10 seconds, Program ECM.......

Bob,
I posted a question above about which way is the best to connect my Laptop to my bike to install a SERT. My main question is my new laptop which of coarse is Vista OS. Your responce here has me scared LOL. Sound's to me it would be better if i drug my XP PC computer out to the garage and left the new Laptop in the house, yes? thx, Rich

I have experienced a complete lack of compatibility with a 64 bit Vista OS....

32 bit upgrade did give me fits...

My sugg, stick with XP, as the software designers (Turbo Shop) haven't yet released a Vista compatible program...

Check your PM box.....

For those that are curious, the question is in reference to the ACR prompt.....

DISABLE for all motors, unless you install the SE ACR (Automatic Compression Release) kit on a special built motor.... Issued with the SE 110 kit....
