Default Primary fluid level?

I have hard-tailed my '76 sportster and put a 21" wheel on the front. So now it dosen't sit "as level" (lower in the back end) as it did stock.

Should I still use the fill level screw in the primary?

OR

Should I just add the 24 oz (1.5 pints) as specified in the book.

As a side note, it willhold 32 oz (2 pints) when I fill it up to the fill level screw.

Just use the 24 oz (or 26 oz) as it states in the book. If the rear sits a little low due to the frame all the oil will still be in the transmission and back under the clutch basket/sprocket and believe me, there is going to be plenty of oil for the primary items. You are OK with that. DO NOT put 32 oz of oil in there. It is way too much.........pg
