re- wire 79 xls roadster

bike has been stripped and blasted, in the process of mocking up some new ideas and putting everything back in its place. not planning on using any gauges or lights other than head light and tail light, and not a big fan of the cluster f*** in the head light housing from factory. any creative suggestions?

i am rebuilding a ironhead 79 to!
but i do not have the manual book
do you have a pdf of the owner manual or a wiring diagram by any chance ?

Please do like all of us have to do....... shell out some of your hard earned cash for a manual. We had to buy ours. No reason you cannot do the same. The wiring diagram you need will be in the manual as well...... pg

thx buddy!!
but i have the user manual but no electric diagram ,the manual is from 1979 and the electric part had been taken off it !!
so it is for that i need a wiring diagram!!!!!

Put ironhead wire diagram into the Google search and you will get 3 or 4 results right away. Here's one ...
