Default Looking for a Ironhead
Anyone got an Ironhead sitting around they want to get rid of? Want a project for me and the boy. I have a vintage 1959 Gibson Melody Maker 3/4 scale guitar that I need to sell or do some trading to help fund this project. I dont care what it looks like as long as it will run. Im looking at around 2000.00 for a project. Just thought I would drop a post in here to see if anything is out there. I live in Kansas so I would like for it to be fairly close. Ya I know and while Im at it, I might as well ask for a good looking virgin with alot of money.
Hell dont hurt to ask.

The best buys i have seen have come from Craigslist. You should be able to do quite well with that bufget.

Keep an eye on both craigslist and ebay. I've seen a lot of ironheads for sale here as of late.
If it helps you any, I have a frame for one that I will be selling here very soon. Im in SW KS, by Liberal.

Too bad you aren't closer, My ironhead is just sitting in the garage, haven't really run it in two years.

Where the heck is Sugar Grove?
I've been looking for an Ironhead also. I found an 80 XL that has been partially rebuilt and repainted for a very nice $2,500 but am open to others.
