Default fender help

hey yall i got a nice set of tin, already custom painted, for a softail. I got the front fender and the tanks mounted, but I'm sort of stuck on how to mount the rear fender. i been going thru j and p looking for some sort of strut adapter, if anyone knows of one, or has any ideas on how to mount this bitch it would be appreciated. its the fat bob fender that looks like a duck's ***. thanks.

Oh yeah I got a paughco hardtail frame. if that helps any.

I would bolt through the inner bottom lip of the finder to somewhere on the back of the frame close the the bottom and then run a piece of flat iron in a large u shape (could over extend it and also use for a sissy bar) <--pretty sweet IMO. Run it either over/under or both somewhere near the rear of fender. Bolt or weld it through the flat bar and also through the fender on both sides. Or weld a fat round washer to it for a bar thats round

If you plan to carry a passenger I would run it underneath the fender keeping it as vertical or 90 deg from the ground as possible for added support to weight from above.

I think u maybe able to with some modification unless your fender is a flat one (then I'm not to sure) Best solution would be to cut some metal triangles to use them as ur tabs/spacers/mounts and weld them to the frame. Welded on bungs that are threaded would be better. most likely ganna still need something mounted near rear axle nut vertically to attach to back of fender

Looks like its ganna be a pretty sweet scoot! Congrats
