There is soooooo much controversy over this particular machine. Todd, the owner has researched the crap out of this thing and has documentation to prove its all OEM and never painted. It sold twice before for outrageous sums of money. It sells at no reserve next week....we shall see if it sets records, again......
The chrome was an option, my 1940 has a chrome headlight, taillight, Dash, horn, as well as SS trim on the sides of and the top of both fenders and the chrome front light. The option is listed on the factory order blanks.
