M8 problems

My local HD shop has had no M8 bikes sump or migrate fluid ,I've known the sales guy since high school 40+ years and the head mechanic is his son , so yea they're pretty straight with me , we're mates right have been for decades ,I washed bikes for the dealer principle when I was a kid too when he had the Zooki shop and he's straight with me right ,they're aware of the issues though but yea none through the shop , maybe it's luck, maybe it's not, these guys are **** about the bikes they sell.
I'm getting my 18 Street Bob next week and though I'm a little worried about the issues IRL my dealers had no issues.

Technically. No
A lot more work is involved before it evolves to what it is.
Still derived from crude. But changed at the molecular leverl.
Like silicon. Derived from plastic.. And either is a synthetic.

They increased the diameter of the crank pin to make it stronger.. Kinda wonder if some of the stage 3/4 motors that have blown up haven't twisted / spread the cranks tho.. Spec for runout is still loose.. 12 thou for in case. 5 thou in the stand.

my bad. Was a while ago that I had read something relating to the MoCo's new venture involving assembly and manufacturing of their machines. And thought at the time I posted, that it was a 100% effort taking place in India.
