Default M8 crate engine

Will HD offer their new M8 series in a crate engine form immediately or will they wait for a couple of years before this engine becomes common in their line-up?

Any answer to this question would be purely conjecture. You could do some research to see when Twin Cam crate engines were offered first, but that won't mean HD will do the same this time.

Probably will depend on how well accepted these engines are. If it's well accepted crate engines will be delayed. Just my $.03 as always.

Inside talk is all bets are off on anything the mothership used to do the next couple years, they are doing some major restructuring and all kinda stuff is getting changed.

You make a good point. And you're probably spot on.

Similar to GM today. Allowing the next generation Camaro to support the same engine the Vette does is w/o a doubt a major deviation in mindsets. For in the past the Vette was King. Now it has it's own in-house competition.

I saw the new ZL1 outside of Denver last month. It was a red one being tested in higher elevations. The car sounds great and looks good too. Price? He (the driver) said sround $60K.
