Hey guys just got done putting my bars back on after having some light machine work done to them so the throttle grip fit better. Plug everything in and torque everything down, cranked up bike and have the engine light on..how can I get a code or reset? I know I have read it before somewhere..
To access the diagnostic menus, hold the power button of the infotainment system in while turning the ignition switch to the accessory position until the warning screen appears. Then, release the button and click accept.
The service menu will be displayed. To view diagnostic trouble codes, highlight and select DTCs on the display. A listing of all current and historic codes logged will be displayed. Selecting the "i" button will change the display so that it lists a description of the code rather than the code number.

it's always good to capture this info on your smarphone. I have it copied into a note on my iphone for future reference. I also keep instructions on how to put to override the security should I lose the fob as well as how to put the bike in transport mode. all good things to have when you find yourself in trouble.
I had same thing, a dozen codes after new bars installed. Cleared them and all is good. Pretty sure mine was from turning the ign on double checking the wiring in the bars w/o all of the plugs plugged in.
