Default Should I do it or not

This 2017 Triglide is my sixth Harley and all the rest I did tuner, air and exhaust as it had to be done. The new M8 might be a different story it runs like a dream. I might just do slip ons or nothing at all. When I get to Sturgis I will check out all the options but am totally happy the way it is.

my wife traded her all hopped up and modified 2012 Tri Glide for a 17 Freewheeler..she's leaving the engine stock..the combination of better motor and lighter weight is more than enough performance wise

Ride it as is for a year or two except change out the huge ugly air cleaner.

By then, there will be more parts available, more knowledge base, more lessons learned, better pricing and availability as well as more options etc. If you ride a lot, by then your warranty will be up as well and that cherry will be ripe for the popping.

If you want to keep your engine warranty I wouldn't. HD seems to be voiding warranties for aftermarket add on's after the EPA fine.

I agree with all of the posts above. Love my M8, best bike I've ever owned. Im leaving mine stock at least until the warranty runs out. That being said, i will put money into everything else except the motor. Chrome lowers on the forks, lights, etc. etc. etc. Nice bike BTW.

I almost made eng mods right away, after 3200 miles I glad I did not. The only mod was SE cannons. The M8 has plenty of power and I still ride my 2015 TC with stage1, V&H propipe, RC airstrike air cleaner, and FP3 tune. Love it but there is no comparison between my two bikes. We ride two up 99% of the time and my wife comments on the fact that the stock M8 is a totally different riding experience in regards to the seat of the pants dyno.
To all of you waiting to say that my 103 isn't running right, don't even go there.

Had the dealer put on street cannons, ventilator ac , screaming eagle tuner and cool flow fan. Stage one flash. Thinking about having them dyno it. At first service i am averaging 52 mpg with awesome power. Stage one covered under warranty because it was done at delivery

I was pretty happy with it stock, but I am happier with Stage 1. Not only the performance boost, but as far as i know it's not running as lean as it does stock.
