Default Need cables for my bars

Well Im looking for some cables. I need the lower/upper brake and clutch in stainless for my 17 RGS with 16in bars. I went with a complete kit from LA choppers and it was total garbage, Wrong lengths and the fittings had funky angles putting my cables way out from the bars. Now Ive got my bike tore down and need parts. Anybody have a line on these cables that are in stock?

Check out magnum shielding. Got my cables from them when nobody else had them. They were prefect.

I was looking to do 16" apes as well, but my local dealer is an a$$hat, told me "no one makes cables for the RKS yet" what a tool. I am staying with the stock bars for a while,

CheefASRC Thats exactly what my buddy told me. Said that the parts guy called drag and that magnum shielding didnt make cables for the 17's yet. I called magnum and they DO make the cables for the 17s. So I have a set on order and hopefully they will be here sometime next week. Also a little bit of info here. Magnum shielding is the company that makes the factory lines for Harley.

Thanks sharpshooter, did you need cables and lines? What was the damage?

You will need wire extensions. I used the wire kit that was in the LA chopper kit I bought only to find out later that the cables wouldnt work. Luckily revzilla is giving me a refund even though I used the wiring kit. I ended up buying the to lower lines, the midline and the upper brake line, also bought the clutch cable. buying the cables separate is not the way to go. Those pieces priced out came to 574. The whole kit with the wire extensions was like 590. Luckily I got them at dealer cost so it was just a tad under 400.

Do not buy those wire extensions unless you plan to cut off the connectors. Trust me. Save yourself a headache and trouble and do it the right way. Solder each joint.
