I read earlier a fella had a problem with this switch which kept him from starting the bike while in gear and clutch lever engaged. My RK was doing it intermittently and then it gave up the ghost I thought. So next morning going to take it to the dealer and I do a test and it's working. WTH? Anyway go to the service dept and talk with them and the service guy asks me is it working now and I said yes. He then asks whether when it wasn't working was the bike hit and was the weather hot. Yes it was.
Then he tells me that it seems that switch goes on vacation when those conditions are met. But I check this afternoon when it was hot outside and it wasn't working. The bike hasn't been ridden today
Anyway, he ordered a replacement which should be here next week and all will be well in my world. Lol
