Not hard at all, the harness has 2 ends, one is a Y. You plug one end into the ACC adaptor under the left side cover and the other has a plug for the seat, and 3 wires to splice in something else, like heated grips. Bada Book, Bada Boom.

Default zeppelin seat plug wiring

well here is my story lol i was taking off my tour pack and I had my zeppelin seat side ways on the bike and it fell off . this caused the wiring to shred from the harness plug on the bike leaving the 2 wires exposed a black and a purple . I purchased a new plug but since the wires were pulled completely out of the connector there is no way of telling how they were arranged . so my question is on a 2015 ultra limited looking at the plug that goes into the seat is it purple and black or black and purple going left to right .I pulled up a picture of one with 3 wires and it shows purple then black ..the wires on the seat plug are black and black with writing on it . which one is positive …thank you for helping me out

What does the wire with "black with writing on it" say? Did the wires pull out of the pins or did the wires and pin combo come out of the connector?
The connectors probably only connect one way and then click lock. If so, then check the "bike" connector and note the location of the wires in that connector. Then orient and insert the "seat" wires into the seat connector. Some connecters are labelled A B C etc to make wiring easier
Far easier for me to do it than explain it
