I wonder how this happens to a stock motor. I understand how it would happen after a stage 3/4 upgrade with higher rpm and power outputs using the same pump but a stock motor that has been running well for 3K mikes and then Sumps. Logically the oil pump but then his has been changed. Anybody have any thoughts outside of the oil pump what could have changed or gone wrong to cause a healthy motor with that many miles to start dumping?
You are correct, they have tried updated oil pump, but for several that has not fixed it. Yours is one f the few stock 107 I have heard of doing this. Its usually stage 3 and stage 4 builds.
Very frustrating I am sure
Correct me if I'm wrong but he's got the same motor as yours Dave...?
Thats an 18 CVO SG, right? Cant tell cause of the seat..but blacked out and that tank?
IMO keep bringing it in and use the lemon law...document, document, document...

Then it's a lemon and I would go ahead and start demanding a new bike. If you need to go ahead and lawyer up
Not sure if there's a reasonable alternative but in Florida there is NO lemon law coverage for motorcycles. It's something that should be changed for sure with the cost of these bikes many times exceeding the cost of cars.

Im not in FL, but maybe call these folks? They list MC under the Magnusson-Moss...
Magnuson-Moss is a federal law and therefore is not to be confused with state lemon laws, which vary by state and apply only to defective vehicles such as automobiles, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles.
Despite the different state-level laws, there are generally some basic criteria for what makes a vehicle a “lemon.” The new vehicle must have a substantial defect, covered by a warranty, that showed up within a certain period of time or mileage after you purchased the vehicle – and which could not be fixed after a reasonable number of attempts to repair it."
Good Luck!!!!
