Did they check the main seal? I had something similar when oil leaked into the primary. I would be on the highway and give it some gas and nothing there. Thats how it started! after a while it started running very hot and I noticed oil consumption ( So I thought) Dealer said it was normal to use oil with its hot out. ???? a quart???? Anyway after a few more calls the dealer took it in and after a week they decided to check the primary and opened it up, oil was spilling out, it was over full due to the leak.

Long story, to much to type here but the early build dates of the M8 had bad seals. I read they were on version 4 at the time of my problem.

IMO keep bringing it in and use the lemon law...document, document, document...
His is not a CVO and is a 107 motor.

My 17 CVO Street glide was traded, it had 20,526 miles on it, a 114ci motor with no issues.

My current is an 18 CVO Road Glide with a 117 motor. Only 568 miles on it.

my friends bikes have since been "fixed", but I'm not for sure, as I bet I can get them to sump again.

the bikes affected in my group had mileage as follows

3500
1800
600
3600 - mine

When I checked my bike for sumping as per the SB, nothing but a drop or two came out.

I feel Bad for you Sir, I hope you get this squared away asap.

mjwebb, why are you hammering this guy and also being untruthful when you complained on another post about having to keep your RPM's below 3500 to minimize the oil transfer between the transmission and primary?
