The tech at the dealership that built my Stage 4 had to disconnect the VSS to allow the bike to hit the rev limiter and get the full output of the bike while doing the after build dyno run. It had been shutting off at 114 or so and he couldn't get the numbers he was expecting until he tricked the ECM and let it run past the built in speed limiter.
I wasn't there when he did it, but I'm sure it did. Not to mention the speedo, along with other things, doesn't work with the VSS disconnected. Definitely not something I would try off of a Dyno.

My bad I figured you were still running it with the VSS diconnected.
The Race tuner enabled my rev limiter to be raised from 5500 to 6200 in preperation for my stage 3 conversion.Never changed any of my Twincams but have hit the limit a few times on the Milwaukee!Nothing to do with top speed at all as 125 comes @4800 in 6th or 5500 in 5thand anticipate I may get there. Not that I have seen more than 115 on any Harley, with my own eyes looking at my Zumo!Yes you can beat the built in 110 limiter with a Healtech Speedohealer but dont use Harley GPS to verify,as it is driven by and as inaccurate as the Harley speedo.Everybody does 125 on the barstool in the Pub!
UltraZac I tried on the 407 in Toronto and I absolutely cannot get it to go past 180kmh (apparently 111mph). That's already feeling sketchy on the bike.
Now that I think of it I should check if the speedo on the GPS maintains highest speed like cars do???

I could burry the speedo on my last bike with 107, not M8 at 220kph on the same stretch of road. Talk about sketchy at that speed.
The next time I try this I will use my Garmin to check speed. The point of posting this was to see if other people have ever hit the speed limiter. I have yet to experience any speed limiting. I sure hope to he77 my speedo isn't off by 20kph.
