Default Soft Lowers
Anyone running soft lowers on there M8? Thinking about getting some as i will be riding my bike through the winter as much as possible. However i dont wanna buy a set if there going to effect the air flow needed to the intake and motor. Just figured i would ask before i bought a set. I dont want hard lowers as i wont run them during the summer spring and fall here in the south and wanna be able to remove them quickly. Thoughts?

They are the best and cheapest mod available - get them bought!

I have a set. You can toss them in your bags. Comes in handy for rain weather also.

Some things to consider as I too thought about buying these. Now second guessing them, though for a quick rain guard they might be a good addition to your saddlebags for such emergencies.

I used to use apair on my TC88 Roadking. If I remember right, for engine cooling, they suggested that you don't run with them on if the temperature was above 70 degrees. They worked OK, nowhere as good as the hard lowers that are on the touring bikes.

Buy the Harley ones , put them on and enjoy the winter, take off in spring and store.
