I seen a thread and thought I subscribed to it but somehow missed doing so.
I'm going to install a cam, lifters and pushrods in my M8, last time I did this was on a shovel, no sweat I can do it in my sleep but if someone has done it and there's an instructional thread I'd love to see it.

Thanks in advance.
Do not have a video of it but recommend you replace the cam bearing if you plan to keep it long term. The CVO 110 came stock with the upgraded bearing in the Twin Cams, due to more valve spring pressure on the 4 valves on those heads. Now the M8 has gone back to a single cam and this places all the load of 8 valve springs onto the one bearing where as the Twin Cam used two! This requires a puller and install tools but well worth it in my book. Everything is really pretty simple if you just take your time on it.
I'd replace everything while your in there,HD lifters are crap. It seems to me that Jamie had a post about changing M8 cams, may have been on a different site. What are you going to use for a tuner?
Its the same bearing that the late model TwinCam uses. The puller for the TwinCam works, but the alignment plate for the installer is different. Georges Garage was supposed to have them available by mid-November. I just sent them an email to see if they have them yet.
