Hey guys wondering what M8 cam choices are out there. I know of the Harley Power and Torque cams, the WM8-222 and WM8-22X, RedShift 468, CycleRama 460, and the S&S 475. I am torn between the WM8-222 and the WM8-22X. I was concidering the RedShift but the WM8-22X is said to perform similarly but with the addition of torque earlier on.
I have a 107 with Harley's Ventilator A/C, Rinehart Slimline Duals with their 4.5 Slips and an FP-3 fuel tuner. I have not seen many stats on the new M8 Rinehart pipes and emailed them about it and they said,
"We typically see a 10-12% improvement with completion of stage 1 upgrades on the motorcycles. That puts you around 110 ft of torque and 98 hp with just slip-ons, air cleaner and fuel tune. A full system and a stage 2 or higher torque cam could potentially increase you 15-17% over stock."
I think their Stage 1 numbers and a little high but ok. Anyways, I am wondering if anyone knows how the Rineharts flow and perform and could reccomend a Cam that would pair well with my system to give me a great powerband without neglecting the lower RPMs.
Thanks in advance.

Did you check out the Cam testing thread Fuel Moto did. They took great pains to test 6 different cams in the same bike and posted the results for each one.
I did and that didn't really clarify or take care of my weariness because the cams that seemed greatest for what I want based on their test seemed to be disappointing to may others on the road in the real world. I also emailed Fuel Moto and they responded saying that the M8 is a little finicky with its exhaust and one cam could perform great with one set of pipes and not good with another. Which is also why I am inquiring about my pipes here.

Who are the others that are disappointed that you are talking about?
Going to be hard pressed to find anyone that tested all of those cams and dynode them too with different exhaust .What are you looking for in a Cam? I went with the Woody 22x based solely off there results..Only found 2 persons on this page that had them and were very happy with the set up.This engine is in the early HP world stages so 3 months 6 months even 1 year there is going to be something faster and better to put in them so imo the decision you make now is not going to necessarily be the best decision good luck

No one in particular but I have come across some who think that the 222 is sluggish and others jave said that not many cams perform well from idle to 3k, which could be an opinion and I've not come across anyone with the 22X, until now. How do you like it. I spend most of my time at low rpms and shift around 4-4.5k. How does it pull from a stop and how is its power curve?
Dyna sheets I've seen of it typically have a dip in torque around 3k, how does that dip in the "paperwork" actually stack up? Also how lopey is it? Fuel Moto says its aggressive buy the few videos dont show anything that aggressive.
