This is good to hear... just got my 2018 Road King and the better half's right leg is on fire (Texas, 100+ heat right now - but she still was feeling it at 80'). She's been riding with me for a while so she knows to expect some heat, but it is ridiculous. I will be getting the cool flow fan, and deflectors soon.
I've installed the Coolflow fan on a 2018 CVO Limited 114 and a 2017 FLHXS 107. Biggest impact is on the 107. Being able to ride both bikes, I can attest first to the effectiveness of the Twin Cooled 114. Even a bigger motor, it runs cooler than the 107. I recently did a road trip VA to TX and back. Both bike under the exact same conditions, same stage I with same exhaust and SE tuner, the 107 ran hotter; significantly so based on the but dyno/thermo. The Coolflow fan helps cool both engines but I feel the largest impact on the 107. If you are on the fence whether or not to install this, my vote is yes - add it to the bike.

My dealer quoted me 4 hours to install, only because they have never done one yet, but said they would adjust that to whatever it took, looks like I’ll be showing the tech this thread, sounds like a great upgrade too, the heat is killing the wife, ultimately I’ll ditch the CAT just not yet...
If you know how to do an oil change I dont see why you cant save yourself the cost and install the fan and switch yourself. Yes, the directions are easy read but it took a bit longer for me to really understand where the connectors needed to go and the diagram they have is lousy. I did have to remove the bags and battery to install the shields and fan. Best purchase Ive made for my bike.
