A TTS tuner can restore the factory map, and the factory map date. HD will not detect that it has been flashed back to stock.

Pretty sure this is incorrect. Yes, the stock map can be put back, but HD can tell it was flashed with a non HD tuner, it's been confirmed on several threads

Any tuner will make a copy of the oem map and be able to return the ecu to oem. Nothing special about the TTS

You may be referring to the Dyno Jet Power Commander. It's a separate 'box' that is installed on the bike and does not flash the stock ECM. It plugs into the harness between the ECM and the engine, and tunes the output from the ECM. You can remove it and the bike is back to stock.

I have seen that when flashed back to stock, it is not detected.

That is what I was referring to. I thought the TTS was a ECM. It doesn't work with the stock ECM but rather plugs into its place... Is this incorrect.. And warranty with all this sumping"which mine has" is of great concern..

I think the answer is "nobody actually knows for sure!"

Not sure I'd take a chance of warranty denial on that basis....

The TTS and PV are plug in, use, then unplug. The Thundermax is a replacement ECM. I agree that the TTS and PV don't leave a footprint per se with the tune file but, always a but, I had a pretty good HD tech tell me once that there is a flash counter in the stock ECM. Doesn't say what flashed it, just counts how many times it's been flashed. He could have been full of BS, I don't know?

If so, and the dealer service dept. sees you have 6 flashes and their system only shows 3 done by dealers... hmmm.

Yep, ThunderMax. You would also need to swap the sensors.

Then why would you even want to risk it? You know that the one thing that Harley will absolutely guaranteed void your warranty for, is using an aftermarket tuner. And you already have sumping, which means there's a decent chance of having to replace the engine at some point... so why do anything whatsoever to risk the warranty? Makes no sense.
