...
I know exactly what you're talking about, I had this done a few weeks ago and the shop I had it done by said it was a bitch to get them out, especially when the bearings are digging into the bearing race.
What a world of difference in handling after they're replaced...

I don't like to see grease weeping from sealed bearings, Easy to tell if they are bad is by jacking the wheel off the ground, and give it a wiggle test. Does it feel ok?, now spin it with one hand while placing the fingers of your other hand on the axle stub. Any felt vibration or roughness by your fingers will indicate Bearings need to be replaced. .

A little grease showing gives you time. Mine just came apart about 50 miles from home. The wheel bearings are easy to change with the correct puller. I used bearings from All *****. Reasonable cost and work great.it also gave me a reason to clean the dirty wheel. Lol

Florida pitting and corrosion is a real struggle too it appears...glad that it destructed close to home..that could cause much bigger problems ripping across the desert through BFE

yup, wife and I both had bearing replaced under warranty in front and mine on the rear also under 20,000 miles on our 2017 Touring models, and have a couple friends with early MY bikes that had theirs replaced as well...I have over 57,000 miles on my 2020 and she has about half that many on her 2020 and they have checked out good so far
