I have used pretty much all the tires from the list and these current Avon Cobras on my bike is the best in the canyons so far...from my experience. Haven't ridden on wet conditions yet though.

I have routinely gotten 25K out of OEM touring tires. I am staying with them. Besides my dealer gives 30% off on OEM tires on St. Pats day every year. Works for me.

What's this got to do with M8 engines? Belongs in the touring forum.

As far as I know 5his has over 10k on his m8 with zero sumping.... other than that I have no idea what tire he prefers 🤡

I chose Dunlop American Elites, repeat customer as they have been impressive all around and availability with vast HD dealership network as we get out of town a lot

M8 isn't just engines or Touring bikes anymore, remember they added the new frames and suspension to Soft Tails..glad to see SC posting and taking a break from the exhausting transmission time, effort and sharing he's contributed here

Personally I wouldnt generalize riding experience between frame styles. I guess the forums are just becoming one big undifferentiated blob anyway
