Got zombie baffles, sound great but figure I do headers. Was wanting true duals from bassani but looks like they fit the old 95-16 mufflers and not the new ones. So leaves V&H power duals or Rinehart slimline. Does seem like jackpots are popular not sure what the difference between ceramic n stainless is thou, have black stock heat shields already.Curious as to which going to sound better n of course torgue. Yes I know 2-1 best performance wise but already bought mufflers. Can't stand 1 pipe look anyway. Got SE torgue cam. Warranty not a issue anymore.
with all the exhaust discussions since the M8 inception blows me away I haven't heard Supertrapp mentioned..if I was doing a full aftermarket exhaust pretty sure I'd go with their header and Kerker slash or stout muffs..ST proven quality and performance and priced right https://supertrapp.com//hd-pipe-2-1-...-crm-188-71870
Here is a combination I like. RCX Tormentor headers with S&S MK45 Mufflers. To me, this starts to get back to a more familiar sound. Listen to it with good headphones instead of crappy tablet, phone, or cheap computer speakers.
I honestly don't feel that any header over another is going to make much difference in sound as compared to each other. The exception would be a set that has no crossover vs a set that does. Most sets do. I went with the Rineharts due to the quality and look of them.
One thing you may want to look at is what you will get for your money and is it worth what you're spending.
Here is a dyno sheet for a 107, TTS 100 cam and Fullsac header.
Now here is a dyno sheet of a 107, TTS 100 cam and the stock header decatted.
As you can see by 2100 rpm the bikes were making the same amount of torque and pretty much had identical output from then on. The Fullsac did make a difference in torque below 2100 rpm, but is that worth $700 to you. The Fullsac header is probably as good a header as any offered, so I wouldn't think the results would be much different with any 2-1-2 that you want to compare. Granted, it was not the same bike or the same dyno so you can take it for what it is worth. I personally don't think that the aftermarket headers make much difference until you get into some bigger motors. So you can ask others if they felt a lot of difference in their bikes performance and they may say yes, but is the pipe the only change they made? Just something to think about.
Thanks for the Dyno info. Did decide to go with tormentor exhaust. Just wanted to lose the cat hopefully help with the heat. Hoping sound is better. Long as I don't loose performance I'm ok.
