Just drain the fluids from bolts at the bottom of the bike. Your owners manual describes the procedure. It's easy and don't over think it.

Man...Harley has everyone on edge about voiding the warranty anymore. Relax people...just change your oil and don’t fret about it

There shouldn't be any problems with mixing the oils. Incompatibility was an issue early on with the synthetics, way back half a century ago. But not anymore.

However, old habits die hard, and I always tend to over-think things. So when I switch to a synth oil, I will do a flush, by installing the new oil, running a hundred miles or so, and then change the oil again. This gets out most of the retained oil. It is expensive and wasteful, and all but certainly unnecessary, but that doesn't stop me.

I doubt that it matters a bit.

Agreed. But, this oil is readily available pretty much anywhere you ride, should you need more.

That should not be the primary reason for oil selection.
