Default I'm back...
I had a SGS '17 for a year and traded it for a RKP. Now I'm trading it in for a Road Glide Standard w/6.5 boom, ABS and security. Getting a great deal from Keith @ Seminole HD in Florida. Any tips on "run in" precedure. I have about 170 miles home on I4 and I75, deffintley vary the rpms....

congrats! I would avoid the Interstate for its maiden voyage if you can, varying the throttle is obviously good but not enough imo..i like to find some hills and twisties so it's getting a load on it uphill, decelerating downhills and going through the gears, etc...... can you find a long way home route through the back country?

Congrats! Not like the trip is million miles, but since you will need to avoid cruise control for x miles during break-in, consider one of these:

Congratulations and enjoy... As others have mentioned vary your speed, try to find some nice back roads and avoid over 3,500rpms but enjoy it.

Yeah I might miss the Cop seat, looks goofy but very comfortable. Stock seat is not that bad. Let the modifications begin...
