Hey All,
I have a 2017 Street Glide Special I bought the week they came out and still love it. My warranty is expiring and was thinking of adding new air and FP3 turner ( hoping that the bike will run cooler). For those who have added the FP3 to their M8's do you like the results? I'm also open to suggestions for new breathers.

The FP3 tuner has proved to be a great tuner for most peoples needs and expectations. I dont think i have ever heard anything bad about it. However i do and would suggest you look at the power vision from fuel moto. The customer service is second to none and is just as easy to install as the fp3. But either way you will be happy with your choice.
As far as breathers go there are tons of solid options out there. It really boils down to what you think looks the best on your bike imo.

is running cooler your main objective? then thinking you should go catless exhaust with the FP3 right? if you're only talking about stage 1 with tuner I don't see how that will reduce the heat significantly with the stock exhaust..let others chime in that have done that though

An FP3 or PV allows for a richer air-fuel ratio which will run cooler and, in theory, keep the catalytic converter cooler as well.
The engine and the exhaust system should then radiate less heat.
I have yet to try this on my M8, but I have chosen richer mixes with fuel managers on other bikes, and it has always resulted in a cooler running engine and exhaust.
The trick is not to go too rich or you lose thermal efficiency and then lose too much power.
