Technically yes but since you have already gotten the bike tuned the ignition timing should be close. I'd install the baffle put a hundred miles on it and do an auto tune.. See how it feels.. and go from there.

BTW, You say you have a BDL comp sprocket. I'd dump it.. I'd bet that it eventually self destructs. The design is really week for a hi output motor unless the made some serious changes to the ones used in TCs. There have been a number TC versions that died.

If you are experience a bit of a flat spot in throttle response, you'll should think about changing the injector timing if it's set above 375 degrees..

Sounds like a plan. Funny you say that, about the comp. sprocket. I’ve heard mixed reviews, mostly bad. I followed the instructions to a T, and it’s been ok. The only thing that really gave me issues, besides the bad pump/plate I got, was the Hayden tensioner, and I think that’s because of the increased angle of the primary chain, as a result of the larger clutch basket. It was tearing into the top of my primary cover, about 11 o’ clock from the clutch. I put the stock one back in for now. Evolution said they’re coming out with a solution for that, in a couple months. The BDL is a 3-piece assembly, that has these thick Neoprene(the guy at BDL corrected me, on the name of the actual material they use, can’t remember what it’s called), in between the center and outer pieces. I agree, I didn’t want a solid sprocket, but I smoked 2-stock ones, and it was 1/2 the $ of the Darkhorse, which I should have used from the get-go. I’m a fast-shifter, used to rice. Idk what the injector timing is set to, I know I input the injector size, and I had to experiment with the final drive ratio setting, to get the gauges to read right again. It’s 80, for a Softail M8, with a 49t clutch basket, in case you ever need to set that. TMax default was 95.

Is this a baffle? I can’t tell.

I guess the exhaust came with it, when I bought it. I originally had the dealer do the stage 1, and rolled it into the loan. Well then. The Darkhorse it is. I’ll tell ya, I had CSR swap-out the tensioner, before the dyno, they only had I think Lucas Oil Primary Fluid. Not talkin’ **** about Lucas, just facts here; I was running Spectro Gold 60W before, and it was much better. Hey thanks for all your help! Maybe I’ll be able to scrimp-up the $2700 this winter, for the Burns exhaust, it’s pretty Badass.
