Thank you for the update and I would like to add that during the last 500 miles of riding with my new FM124, my fuel consumption has stabilized around 37 mpg +/- (during somewhat aggressive riding on twisty roads) and I'm totally OK with that.

I might also add that my wife, who somewhat begrudgingly approved the funding for this build has told me that if we get another bike, it has to perform like this one does now. She noticed the difference in how much less effort I was making with less down shifting exiting the turns to keep up with my son riding solo on a CVO as well as the extra safety margin with more power in passing situations on two lane roads.

I felt like I was riding a 125 against an open class bike, down shifting to get the power I needed coming out of the turns. Now, with the FM124 and the WM8-408 cam, the power band (TQ/HP) is so wide, I can just roll the power on coming out of the turns and compression brake going into the next turn and that was my performance objective on this build. I'm very happy now.

Thank you Fuel Moto and Yellowstone HD!

Based on the build Im guessing either the SE Heads or the exhaust is holding it back a bit. Wonderfully flat torque curve -- what tuner was used?

Must be the SE heads. Tuned with Techno Research Direct Link. It actually runs fantastic. I wonder if the stock heads would have been a better option..

Something seems odd about those numbers for a 124. My 117 stage 4 with a 2-1 made those numbers

then I sent the heads off to wards and he ported them even more Han Harley did as well as the intake m. Added a woods 408. And it made this.

Its definitely heads you should have Andrew Rosa do them he is very good. Also larger TB will help as well. Its probably needs to be milled and cc’d to match the piston with some mild porting. Rosa did right.

Bigger than 64mm? I'd focus on the heads.

I meant larger injectors not TB since you have a 64mm TB.

I wonder how much each change contributed -- the porting vs the cam change? Why did you change the cam at the same time -- seems that the original cam was doing a pretty good job.

I believe the 5.5’s are the larger injectors they make. What I find funny is that I have seen 124 kits push 140/140 with the same configuration. SE Heads, 64mm Throttle body, 5.5 injectors and same compression. Again, the bike rides Fabulous. Scrapping my SE heads, having my stock heads worked and maybe porting the Manifold are the only things I can think of.not sure if it’s worth it though.
