Default Factory installed vent

My new 19 limited came in this week. Haven’t picked it up yet bc financing. It came from the factory with the primary vent installed. First one this dealer has seen. Hopefully it has fixed the transfer issue. I’m doing no mods because of fear of a warranty void or sumping. Took one for test ride today 114 vs 103 big difference. Stock pipe doesn’t sound that bad

What is your build date? Mine is 5/19 and doesn't have the vent. Taking it in tomorrow to get it installed.

If you look on the left side down tube you'll see a UAW sticker. The build date will be there. I was just curious because I read that all bikes with a 5/19 or after build date have the vent yet mine doesn't.

Working on my financing vs eaglemark for best rate. I should be able to check out mfg date this sat, 29 Jun. I haven't seen vent my dealer told me about it

I have a 2018 Road King and was the first at my dealership to have the "Vent" put in last week. I actually walked the tech out onto the show room floor to show him what is would possibly look like when done. Did almost 900 miles this past week end, haven't checked fluids. But if it's now a "factory installed" fix , I like it better. Good luck to all, CSM-H

H7009- if you get a minute please check your trans level. Be curious to hear if you had any transfer in those 900 miles....

I had a SE stage 2 torque cam installed before I took delivery and no problems , It really wakes the bike up. My build was 2/19 so there was no factory primary vent. It had transfer in the first 800 miles.
Took it in to the dealer and they installed the vent kit. After 3,000 miles not a bit of transfer and I do like to twist that throttle.

I was debating to actually switch to a gold wing with all the issues with the M8. I didn't fit on the wing as well as I do on the ultra. So hopefully this one will be trouble free as me last few.
