Looking a 2017 Road Kings. What would one be worth stock and under 6,000 miles. I look at NADA and i feel those values of selling prices are high for todays market. Would $13k be good? I have several private owners where I’m pushing to get my best deal.
I was offered $16-17k trade-in value on my 2017 Street Glide (with minimal upgrades, Stage 1, 4.3 boom, no abs), and that's what I'd expect to sell it privately for around here. How much is a fairing worth on resale? A couple thousand? IDK, but I'd say the prices you're seeing are reflecting current market. Prices should also cool down as we're heading out of riding season.

I’m finding out up north of me a lot of folks store them in the winter. I guess there is a lot of climate control facilities.
As far as pricing, what you say makes sense.

Ain’t that the truth. Shortest Fall I’ve seen in a while. Went from 60 - 80 degree days to 30s - 50s in about a day. Some hope on the horizon but I’m just not ready to break out the heavy leathers just yet

No doubt! I buy a new bike to enjoy my favorite season, and we get snow at the end of September. I lived in central AK for 15 years, and never saw snow in September.
I bought a 2017 road king last year and paid $18,000. Had 6000 miles a lot of extras and SE stage 3 upgrade. OK price I guess. 2017s I see now are running about $14,000 to $15,500 so I would think that's a pretty good price.
I think if you find one for 13 you better run with it and don't look back. I was offered a lot more than that on trade in. Just couldn't let it go though.

Going to check one out tomorrow. I think I’ll jump on it if everything checks out.
